Welcome to West Dorset Commons!
We’re working to make the West Dorset bioregion a home to thriving people, in a thriving place, whilst respecting the wellbeing of all people, and the health of the whole planet.
We’re just getting started. Our plan is to incorporate as a Community Benefit Society as soon as we get 20 local people contributing £5+/mo

Bus to West Bay
Imagine how cool it would be if there was cheap and regular bus to West Bay and back again all weekend!

Let’s make it happen!
Big Quarterly Party
Spoken word, acoustic music, live bands, DJs.
Let’s showcase (and fairly compensate) all the amazing artists in Bridport!
Our first Best of Bridport event at The Lyric on Sat 13 May SOLD OUT
Let’s make sure everyone knows about ALL other Bridport.Events too
Media Co-op
90% of the national press is owned by just 3 companies – let’s tell our own stories!
Bridport deserves a community-owned newspaper like The Bristol Cable, and more!
Check out Bridport.Media and Help make it happen!
Bridport Doughnut
The IPCC said we need “rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society”.
That’s what it’ll take to get the Bridport bioregion into the Doughnut, so that’s our goal.
